Late January 2024
Four little pups were born on January 29, 2024. All very healthy, active and moving around upon arrival. Blue pup was born first followed by Purple (now Green ) then Red and last but not least our only little girl Pink. These pups have a beautiful silver coat with Reds coat containing a little more yellow but beautiful color. All are rambunctious and outgoing but all are sweet and love attention. Red and Blue are quite large at the moment with Green and Pink a little smaller but not to be outdone.
We are really looking forward to the next few weeks and are taking applications from the "Placement Info" area for the 2 puppies ( 1 boy and 1 girl) left looking for homes. These pups seem to be using their noses for you SAR and nosework folks.
Both parents have a truebred heritage and were bred by reputable breeders in Europe. Both parents of course health tested prior to breeding and results registered with the OFA's website receiving CHIC numbers. Parents have friendly and gentle characters. Antigua (Freya) is very nose-active and has training in nosework and man-trailing as well as both of her parents.
The female pup looking for a lasting home is very active, loving girl and loves being with her human family. She is very inquisitive and loves to learn new things and is very smart. She has developed a vlcak-typical body and head structure with beautiful light colored coat.
My husband Jerry and I fell in love with the breed when we were fortunate to foster a wonderful male Vlcak dog named "Mars". I had been searching for a dog for SAR work and found the intelligence and traits of the Czechoslovakian Vlcak were what I was looking for. I was able to locate a breeder in Germany, Sebastian & Iris Gruner, who were expecting a litter and found that the sire and dam were both trained in man-trailing. Freya was born at "z Karpatskej straze" Kennel on January 17, 2017. The last of five pups, Freya was a spunky, outgoing puppy who was not afraid of anything. I went to Germany in March of 2017 to pick Freya up and brought her home to start her training. Like her mother Freya is a tomboy, spunky and silly but can be serious when working. She is loving and protective of her family pack, extremely smart, loves to learn new things and wants to please.
We are hoping for a litter from these two amazing CSV's at the end of January 2024, EDOX Miracle Mia is a very nice male import from Slovakia. "EDOX Miracle Mia", known as 'Syrak' is owned by Greyfarer Kennel, Los Angeles. Syrak has a beautiful white/silver coat, great bone structure, skull and temperament. He is a handsome, athletic and silly boy with a nice temperment and loves to be involved. Syrak & Freya will be great complements to one another.
